What is the Gospel?

These are the things in which provide a framework to help you understand the gospel. The essential truth of the gospel, is that Jesus Christ bore the wrath of God in your place, that His finished work as he died upon the cross was your payment for sin. What man is to do, is to “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and they will be saved.” The evidence of true belief is a changed heart, and a moving forward in holiness. Unlike many churches that encourages people to “say a prayer” and this is salvation, this is not what the bible says. Jesus says, once you believe, you must also examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.
